The popular actor, best known for the iconic Ekta Kapoor show Kaisa Yeh Pyaar Hai, opens up on how with the help of a strong screenplay, his work and preparation as an actor became easier as he appreciated and applauded the script of his upcoming Disney+ Hotstar web-series Commander Karan Saxena.

Elaborating on the script and screenplay of the show, Iqbal Khan said, “I think the best part about the script is the screenplay. I want to salute the writers of Commander Karan Saxena for their tight and well-thought-out screenplay. A simple example that I will give you is that if there is an action sequence going on, it is intercut with something that is cutthroat and fast-paced. At the same time, one person is moving from one place to another, where something significant is about to happen, leading to twists and turns. All these three or four things are happening together in intercuts, which is not editing-based. It’s already in the screenplay. So, it’s amazing that way.”
