PITTSBURGH, July 16, 2024 /PRNewswire/ –“I thought there could be a better way to more quickly attract bait fish to a trap by concentrating the bait in the center of a minnow trap,” said an inventor, from Woodbury, Vermont, “so I invented the BAIT BASKET. With my design, minnows or other bait fish would have to swim into the center of the trap to access the bread or other bait, and it would prevent them from eating the bait through the trap exterior.”
The patent-pending invention provides a new accessory that would improve the effectiveness of a minnow/bait fish trap. In doing so, it would keep bread/bait in a secured, central location for attracting bait fish. As a result, it prevents the bread/bait from floating to the top of the trap, and it could save time when harvesting minnows or other bait fish. The invention features a durable design that is easy to use so it is ideal for fishing enthusiasts. Additionally, a prototype model is available upon request.
