Amid this, Instagrammer Kavya Karnatac claimed that she was offered Rs. 3.6 lakh to discuss how Ambanis wedding would boost the Indian economy. Well, in her post, she shared why she rejected that offer.

Kavya Karnatac mentioned four reasons why she rejected the offer from Ambanis. She stated first that she wanted to maintain her distinctiveness as she did not want to get lost in the crowd. She wrote, ‘Aligning with an overly promoted narrative like Ambani’s wedding would dilute my brand’s uniqueness.’ Later, she mentioned her second reason and stated that at a time when Jio had increased internet charges, promoting a corporate giant like Ambani felt insincere. She said that trust is fragile and built over time through consistent honesty. She said that her audience is discerning and they can differentiate between paid promotions and genuine content.
In the third point, Kavya stated that marriages in India are often canceled due to caste, class, gender, and religion. She said that these are the things that don’t align with her values. She also believes that promoting such events is misleading as she is an educator. She stated her fourth point and said that 3.6 lakh deal is tempting, but the long-term benefits of maintaining her integrity far outweigh the short-term financial gain. Integrity builds a loyal following, which is invaluable.
