Kamal Haasan revealed the latest poster for Indian 2, simultaneously announcing that the movie will see a worldwide release in June.
South’s superstar Kamal Haasan is back with a bang! The actor is set to feature in S. Shankar’s Indian 2. On Saturday, the actor took to his Twitter handle and shared a new poster from the film. Along with the poster, the actor also revealed the release date of the movie. Amid a lot of anticipation for the second instalment of the film, the makers have finally made the release of the sequel official.
In the poster, Kamal Haasan can be barely recognisable as his character can be seen as a man with greying hair. He is seen in a white shirt and a veshti. On the other hand, Haasan’s hands can be seen tied up in handcuffs on the back. The poster features his character standing prominently against a backdrop of vibrant yellow and orange hues.
Other figures are also depicted, albeit subtly, in black against the background. The official poster also reveals that the film’s subtitle is ‘Zero Tolerance.’ Additionally, the words on the poster also disclose the release date., which read: “Releasing in June 2024. In Cinemas Worldwide.”

As soon as the poster was released, it created a massive stir among the fans. While one fan commented: “Senapathy is back!” Another said, “That look! Can’t wait.” A curious fan also asked about the release date of the film. Meanwhile, back in November last year, the Indian 2 promo was shared. After a long wait of 27 years, the sequel of the movie was finally announced. The shoot of Indian 2 began in 2019. However, in 2020 after a crane collapse on the set, the shooting was halted. It resulted in the death of 3 crew members while 10 others were injured.
The music in Indian 2 is given by Anirudh Ravichander, and Ravi Varman worked as the director of photography. Apart from Kamal Haasan, the movie also features Kajal Aggarwal and Rakul Preet Singh in pivotal roles.
