Hyundai India to Introduce 3 new EVs After Creta Electric, Here’s What We Know So Far

The top player in the four-wheel segment Hyundai is all set to launch the electrified avatar of Creta on 17 January during the 2025 Bharart Mobality Expo.  Amid this, the company’s COO Tarun Garg has revealed the future plan of EV fleet in the Indian market.

As per the details shared by the top official, he said the comapny has three new EVs pipelined for the Indian customers. The upcoming EV range is expected to hit the market soon, and is likely to dominate multiple segments.

Garg said the future EV models will fall on both category-born electric and ICE-derived models. He said the upcoming will be produced locally and will attract the target audience with a futuristic approach and cutting-edge technology.

Platform and Range

He did not reveal or hint anything about the future models. However, if rumours are to be believed, the comapny might add an electric sub-compact SUV, which will compete against the current hot-selling product Tata Punch. ev.  It is expected to be based on the E-GMP (K) platform and will offer a decent range of up to 355 km on a single charge (WLTP cycle).

Future EVs

The customers also can expect a pure-electric avatar of Venue and Grand i10 NIOS. Again, the company did not reveal any related details about the same as yet.

Once launched, the Venue Electric will rival against Nexon.ev, while Grand i10-will compete against Tiago.ev.
