George Russell was forced to pit due to a lack of fuel in the car, it seems. He said on the radio: “Why are we not putting enough fuel in the car to complete the session, guys? Traction is getting better and better.” That meant he had to come in and pit before the end, when conditions were best and everyone was gaining time.
Russell did also radio taking the blame for the session. We’ll see what he has to say in the media pen.
