Through X (formerly Twitter), a company official posted a video featuring several users’ requests to launch the Honor Magic 6 Pro in India. Meanwhile, Madhav Sheth, the CEO of HTech, also hinted via a post on X that the smartphone might soon come to India.

Sheth said the “Honor Magic series will exceed Indian consumer’s expectations in reality”. This came in response to a teaser from the upcoming Vivo X Fold 3 Pro, claimed to be the thinnest foldable smartphone and set to arrive in India on June 6th. However, that will be a foldable smartphone.

No other details about the Honor Magic 6 Pro’s India launch are known so far, but tipster Paras Guglani has posted that the Honor Magic 6 Pro will likely be launched in India in July. He also mentioned that the smartphone will not be cheap in India and might be priced aggressively.

Price: The Honor Magic 6 Pro was initially announced at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 for EUR 1,299, approximately Rs 1,16,800 for the 12GB+512GB storage. The official website reveals that the phone comes in three colour options – Epi Green, Cloud Purple, and Black.

Dimension and Weight: It is touted to be a slim phone as its dimensions are 162.5 x 75.8 x 8.9 mm, and the vegan leather variant weighs 225 grams, while the glass variant weighs 229 grams. In comparison, the Honor V Purse, a purse-styled phone, features a more slimmer design. Its dimensions are 158.2 x 187.3 x 6.6 mm, and it weighs 214 grams.

Brightness nits: The Honor Magic 6 Pro boasts a 6.8-inch Full HD+ curved 120Hz OLED display with 5,000 nits of peak brightness. It is worth noting that the brightness nits were the highest on the phone until the launch of Realme GT 6T, which offers 6,000 nits of peak brightness.
