Instructions
To begin, place the lentils in a bowl with the mince and garam masala. Mix and mash the ingredients together with clean hands.
Divide the mixture in half, then with wet hands squeeze and mould the mixture into sausage-like shapes.
Add one tablespoon of olive oil to a frying pan and cook the sausages for five minutes or until golden.
To cook the rice, place a mug of rice, two mugs of boiling water and the cardamom pods into a casserole pan, then add the beans and place the lid on.
Squash the tomatoes into a food processor. Then along with the tomatoes, add the peeled ginger, trimmed spring onions, coriander, traumatic, curry paste, honey, coconut milk and half the chilli to the food processor.
Blitz until combined and then pour the mixture into a pan and then simmer and season to taste.
Once ready, take the lid off the rice, add the peas and mix it together, then leave to cook for a few more minutes.
Put the uncooked poppadoms in the microwave for a few minutes for them to puff up. Then, slice the remaining chilli and coriander to scatter on top of the curry.
Your mouth-watering curry is now ready to eat. Serve the curry with a dollop of yoghurt, poppadoms and rice with beans and peas.
