Honor Magic V Flip stands out for its 4-inch cover display which is the biggest on a clamshell foldable. For context, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 has a 3.4-inch cover display. The Honor Magic V Flip also offers a horizontal split so you can watch videos and use the control panel on the bottom. There’s Always on Display (AoD), and you can even run full-screen apps on the cover display. You can also continue using apps from the primary display to the cover display without any interruption.

Honor Magic V Flip features a 6.8-inch FHD+ OLED display with an LTPO panel, 120Hz refresh rate, 3,000 nits peak brightness, and Dolby Vision. Up front is a 4-inch cover display with 1,092 x 1,200 pixels resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 1,600 nits peak brightness.

Under the hood of the foldable phone runs the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset paired with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. It has a 50MP Sony IMX906 primary camera with OIS and a 12MP ultra-wide camera that doubles as a macro lens. The foldable has a 50MP Sony IMX816 front camera for selfies.

On the software front, the Honor Magic V Flip runs MagicOS 8.0 based on Android 14. It also packs a 4,800mAh battery with 66W fast charging.
