Swedish fashion giant H&M is set to open a new location at The Shops at Brickell City Centre (BCC), one of Miami’s leading retail and lifestyle destinations developed by Swire Properties.
Joining the likes of Zara, Levi’s, Chanel Fragrance, and more, the new store is set to enhance the current retail offering at BBC. The move also sees The Shop reach complete occupancy (100 percent leased), an occurrence which has not taken place since the center’s opening in 2016.
The new H&M store, located on the second level of the north block, will span more than 25,000 square feet and offer the brand’s complete women’s, men’s, and children’s collections, as well as accessories. The interior of the retail location will feature upgraded finishes, including tile flooring, special tile detailing, open-air ceilings, a grand staircase, guest lounge areas, and a large-scale screen featuring H&M’s latest campaigns.
The new opening comes as BBC continues to curate a selected offering of retail, dining, and entertainment experiences for the community. Since 2020, The Shops at the BCC have brought on 24 new brands, achieving a 21.4 percent growth in foot traffic and a 13 percent year-over-year increase in retail sales in 2023 versus 2022.
“Among the world’s leading retailers, H&M is an ideal and exciting addition to the dynamic Brickell City Centre shopping experience,” commented David Martin, senior vice president at Swire Properties. “We are pleased to be the first to welcome H&M to Brickell and offer our loyal visitors in greater Downtown and the surrounding neighborhoods yet another national shopping brand to complement BCC’s tenants that cater to the area’s younger consumer base and tastes.”
“H&M complements our refreshed retail mix and further positions BCC as the foremost retail destination for residents and visitors of Brickell and beyond.”
