The iPhone 16 series launch is set for September 9th, which is less than a week away. Rumours and leaks are still fresh revealing new details about the iPhone 16 series. This time, Apple is rumoured to introduce a new gold colour for the iPhone 16 Pro models and it could be called ‘Desert Titanium’. A new leak reveals what the gold colour for the iPhone 16 Pro series could look like.
Desert Titanium will replace last year’s Blue Titanium and the entire collection will include White Titanium, Black Titanium, and Natural Titanium.
iPhone 16 Pro new gold colour
- The iPhone 16 Pro’s new gold colour will reportedly be called ‘Desert Titanium’. 9to5Mac has revealed an image of what’s supposed to be the new colour.
- It’s strapped on with a MagSafe clear case. The gold here is very light and looks more like beige. It’s also lighter than the iPhone 16 Pro Max Desert Titanium unboxing that we saw recently.
- The leaked image also has evidence of the rumoured capture button for the iPhone 16 Pro models. It will be placed near the sleep/wake button and this new capture button is said to be designed specifically for the Camera app.
There’s been quite some talk about the new colour variant for the iPhone 16 Pro models. According to tipster Majin Bu, the Desert Titanium colour is “kind of dark gold” and similar to the iPhone 14 Pro’s Deep Purple. The tipster adds that this colour shade is “relatively discreet and deep”.
While the rest of the colour options remain the same, the Black Titanium iPhone 16 Pro is said to offer a deep black colour and the lineup will give a more polished look this time. Since the iPhone 16 launch is only a few days away, we’ll soon get to see what the fuss is all about for the new gold colour.
