The Haryana Board Class 10 Result 2024 was announced by the BSEH Chairman Dr.V P Yadav during a press conference. A total of 2,86,714 students appeared in the Class 10 Board Exam 2024, out of which 95.22% of students have successfully cleared the exam.
Dr. Yadav said that the result of secondary (educational) regular candidates was 95.22 percent and the result of self-study candidates was 88.73 percent. The Board Chairman heartily congratulated all the students for their better examination results.
HBSE Chairman
A total of 286,714 students appeared for the Secondary (Educational) regular examination. Out of these, 273,015 passed, while 3,652 received an Essential Repeat (E.R.) result, meaning they will need to retake the exam. Among the girls who appeared (137,167), 132,119 (or 96.32%) passed. On the other hand, 140,896 out of 149,547 boys (or 94.22%) passed the exam. This translates to a 2.10 percentage point higher pass rate for girls compared to boys.
In this examination, the pass percentage of students from rural areas has been 95.24, while the pass percentage of students from urban areas has been 95.18. He said that in terms of pass percentage, district Panchkula stood at the top and district Nuh stood at the bottom.
The Board Chairman said that this result can also be downloaded by the concerned schools/institutions from today evening by visiting the Board’s website and logging in with their user ID and password. If any school does not get the results on time, it will be responsible for it.
In the Secondary Open School (Fresh) examination, 9,014 candidates took part. Out of these, 2,128 were successful, resulting in a pass percentage of 23.61%. It’s worth noting that the pass percentage differed slightly based on the examination category. For regular candidates, the pass percentage was 22.37% (1,257 passed out of 5,620 who appeared). Meanwhile, self-study candidates achieved a pass percentage of 25.67% (871 passed out of 3,393 who appeared).
