Disney+ Hotstar is back with yet another action series, Commander Karan Saxena, centred around a RAW agent unravelling a high-stakes mystery amidst political intrigue and betrayal. Commander Karan Saxena, portrayed by the versatile Gurmeet Choudhary, must navigate treacherous waters of deception and danger in an action-packed battle against enemies of the country. Joined by Iqbal Khan and Hruta Durgule in lead roles, the series premieres next month.

Gurmeet Choudhary, who has been shooting for the web-show for quite some time, has wrapped up the Mumbai schedule for the same. The popular actor decided to share the news on social media as he celebrated this moment with the team and penned about his experience on the show and said, “It’s a wrap for the Mumbai schedule #commanderkaransaxena ! What an incredible journey it has been. From early mornings to late nights, the entire cast and crew poured their hearts into this project, braving the summer heatwave. The dedication and hard work have truly paid off.” He also expressed his excitement about portraying this character of Karan Saxena and shared, “I’m beyond excited to share that the COMMANDER KARAN SAXENA will be premiering on @disneyplushotstar on July 8th. Mark your calendars – you won’t want to miss this!”
He went on to add, “As we wrap up filming for Commander Karan Saxena in Mumbai, I’m feeling a mix of emotions. It’s hard to leave this set, but I’m so proud of what our team has achieved and cannot wait to see what we’ll achieve in other cities! Working with Jatin, Iqbal, Hruta, and everyone else has been like family to me, and that connection shines through on screen. We’ve had funny moments and intense action scenes together—it’s been an unforgettable experience. I’ve worked extremely hard for this physique as my character demanded a lot from me physically. The thrilling episodes of Commander Karan Saxena will premiere exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar from July 8, 2024 onwards and it’ll be available for free to watch on the Disney+ Hotstar mobile app.
