‘Gravity Falls’ In Talks For Revival at Disney | Disney Branded Television, Disney Channel, Gravity Falls, Television

It’s been over eight years since Gravity Falls went off the air and now there are talks about it returning!

The Disney XD series aired it’s series finale in February 2016 after just two seasons on the network.

In a new interview, a Disney exec revealed they are in talks to bring the show back!

“You know, we’re in conversations with Alex [Hirsch]. He’s about to publish a book with Disney on his project. And we also do some shorts. So never say never,” Executive Vice President of Television Animation and Disney Branded Television Meredith Roberts told The Direct.

Following the end of the show several years ago, creator Alex Hirsch has published several books set in the universe, and another one, “The Book of Bill,” is coming out later this year!

In 2020, another Disney Channel show, Amphibia, paid homage to Gravity Falls in one of it’s episodes.
