New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu (R) is expressing a desire to take on former President Donald Trump on a debate stage.
Sununu appeared on Fox News on Tuesday when anchor Harris Faulkner told him, “I’d like to see you debate Donald Trump.”
“I would pay to do that if that coward would get on the stage with anybody,” the governor responded.
However, Harris chided him for his language as she said, “No name-calling, we don’t do the name-calling.”
“Please,” Sununu responded. “He’s a coward.”

When Faulkner urged Sununu to “be better,” he shot back, “You cannot say you’re in a presidential…”
“Alright, we gotta go,” she said she transitioned to a commercial break.
Sununu has endorsed former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley and supported her ahead of the state’s primary election on Tuesday.
However, Trump has dismissed him as a “whacko governor.”
Despite calling Trump a “coward,” Sununu has said he would support the former president if he wins the Republican nomination.
