Former Rep. George Santos (R-NY) is feuding with Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY) over the expelled lawmaker’s recent success on Cameo.
A week after being kicked out of Congress, Santos has shifted to the video messaging service Cameo, where followers can pay him upwards of $500 for a custom made audio and video message.
Recently, a video Santos made for a follower went viral on X, formerly known as Twitter, so he took the opportunity to help promote his new side hustle, writing, “The People’s ‘Princess’ is here to serve.”
Goldman, who was one of the lawmakers who demanded Santos be expelled from Congress over his multiple criminal indictments and alleged wrongdoings from an Ethics Committee investigation, called him out on social media.
Hey @MrSantosNY, friendly recommendation: make sure you pay your taxes on your cameo earnings. https://t.co/5dWNFnDlob

“Hey George Santos, friendly recommendation: make sure you pay your taxes on your cameo earnings,” Goldman said Friday night, highlighting the wire fraud and campaign finance charges Santos is facing.
Santos responded the next morning, claiming Goldman is looking for relevancy now that Santos is no longer on Capitol Hill.
Still looking for relevancy off my name? Geez Dan, I’m gone go find someone else to step on to prop yourself up! https://t.co/375Aey0CGf

“Still looking for relevancy off my name? Geez Dan, I’m gone go find someone else to step on to prop yourself up!” Santos wrote back.
Santos claimed that his new account on Cameo has made him more money than his entire $174,000 annual Congressional salary.
