Simple Energy has launched the Simple ONE Gen 1.5, offering an extended range of 248 kilometers in IDC, up from 212 kilometers in the previous version.
New Delhi: Simple Energy has introduced updates to its flagship scooter, the Simple ONE, with the launch of the Gen 1.5 version. The new version offers an extended range of 248 kilometers in IDC, up from the previous 212 kilometers in the Gen 1, making it India’s longest-range electric two-wheeler. Along with the range improvement, the Gen 1.5 update includes various software features such as App Integration, Navigation, Updated Ride Modes, Park Assist, OTA Updates, Regenerative Braking, Trip History, Customizable Dash Themes, and a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). The scooter also maintains its rapid acceleration of 0-40 km/h in 2.77 seconds and a 30+ liter under-seat storage capacity.
The updated scooter will be available at Simple Energy showrooms for new customers, while existing owners will receive the latest version through software updates. The price of the Gen 1.5 remains unchanged at ₹1,66,000 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru), which includes a 750W charger. With these changes, the Simple ONE Gen 1.5 comes with improved efficiency, enhanced safety features, and added convenience, including the park assist for easier maneuvering in tight spaces. Simple Energy plans to expand the availability of the updated model across the country in the coming months.
