Gayton McKenzie has shot down leads made by a psychic who has offered information into the search for missing Saldana Bay girl Joslin Smith.
The Patriotic Alliance leader – who has been hands-on with helping the community – made the comments in a Facebook Live on Thursday, 28 February.
Joslin went missing on Monday, 19 February, while in the care of her mother’s boyfriend.
GAYTON MCKENZIE ON PSYCHICS
Over the past few days, various mediums have spoken out about what they believe happened to Joslin Smith. Some have even speculated where the little girl could possibly now be.
One popular psychic – Kandis Starr of the US – has claimed in a viral video that Joslin was allegedly abused by her stepfather.
She’s also shared her belief that Joslin is deceased and was taken to a location “down a long, bumpy road.”
Responding to his followers who’ve tagged him in Kandis’s videos, Gayton responded: “I’m not listening to a psychic. Maybe other investigators can follow that up. I believe in prayer and the almighty God. You can’t believe in both.
“I’m not following people believing in mystic power. There is only one power”.
A SIGN IN THE SKY?
Meanwhile, Gayton McKenzie reveals he has hope Joslin Smith is still alive after he witnessed a “sign” in the sky at Saldanha Bay.
He said in a previous Facebook Live: “I saw the cross with my own eyes. I was asking God if this child is still alive. I asked God for a sign.
“I got cold shivers looking at it. I had to wipe my tears. That, for me, was God’s confirmation”.
