The prequel to Miller’s iconic ‘Mad Max: Fury Road,’ ‘Furiosa’ delves into the backstory of the fierce warrior Imperator Furiosa, portrayed by Taylor-Joy. Set in a post-apocalyptic world before the events of ‘Fury Road’, ‘Furiosa’ sees Taylor-Joy, taking over in the title role from Charlize Theron. The film follows a young Furiosa who is kidnapped and imprisoned by a group of bandits led by Warlord Dementus, played by Hemsworth.
