Now, year later, Paswan and Ranaut both find themselves in the political arena. While Paswan contested the 2024 Lok Sabha elections from Bihar’s Jamui and won, Kangana contested the same from Mandi, Himachal and won as well.Paswan says he looks forward to meeting the actress and politician soon in Parliament.
Paswan told PTI, “I am looking forward to meet her. We shared a good relationship, worked in a film. We will be meeting in Parliament. I think she is a strong lady; she voices herself very articulately and I am looking forward listening to her in Parliament.”
On the other hand, Kangana is currently in the news, as only a few hours back, a female CISF constable slapped her during security check at Chandigarh airport. Apparently, the constable held a grudge against Kangana for speaking against the 2020-2021 farmers protest. Later on, Kangana issued a statement after reaching Delhi and said, “Issuing her first reaction in the matter, Kangana shared a video upon reaching Delhi and stated, “Firstly, I am safe and perfectly fine. What happened at Chandigarh airport, it happened during the security check. As soon as I finished the check, a CISF personnel in another cabin waited for me to cross her and instantly came towards me and hit me on my face. She also abused me. When I asked her why she did this, she said that she supported the farmer’s protest. My concern is that the terrorism that is which is growing in Punjab, how do we handle that?”
Earlier, celebrating her big win, Kangana posted, ““Heartfelt gratitude to all the people of Mandi for this love and trust… This victory belongs to all of you, this is the victory of your trust in Prime Minister Modi and BJP, this is the victory of Sanatan and in the honour of Mandi.”
