Another said they grew nearly 100 tomatoes in 2023, and they tasted better than any store-bought tomato.

Some expressed that growing vegetables in a garden isn’t much of a money saver, but it’s a great hobby that will result in tastier and fresher produce.

“Herbs and salad greens are about the only thing that make sense cost vs benefit wise. Produce is cheap and water is not here,” someone said.
