For the one-night-only event, executive chef Chan Yan-tak and his team have created a six-course dinner (HK$6,880 per person) with delicacies such as braised whole 30 heads Yoshihama abalone with French duck liver in chicken pottage, and wok-fried Australian quail fillet with organic black garlic and dried chilli.

Each dish is paired with a whisky that is explained by a Macallan whisky expert.

Japanese restaurant Zoku, on the second floor of The Hari Hong Kong in Wan Chai, is serving a Father’s Day set dinner menu (from HK$688 per person) on June 14, 15 and 16 between 6pm and 10pm.

On the menu are dishes including lobster tail with taro and yuzu pepper, and slow-cooked pork belly with chimichurri. Staff can offer tips on what wine or sake to pair with your food.

This American steakhouse at the Rosewood Hong Kong hotel, under its new chef Jorge Vera Gutiérrez, is offering a Father’s Day lunch (HK$948) with an optional supplement of for two hours of free-flow alcoholic drinks (HK$588 per person) or non-alcoholic drinks (HK$188 per person).

For take-home treats (until June 16), the Butterfly Patisserie has new items such as a coffee and caramel cake that combines coffee notes and caramel mousse with layers of moist chocolate sponge, and hazelnut millefeuille filled with hazelnut caramelised praline, hazelnut cream with Tahitian vanilla cream.
