PETALING JAYA: FashionValet Sdn Bhd co-founder Datin Vivy Yusof broke her silence on Saturday (Dec 7) via a post on Instagram.
In the post, she expressed gratitude to all who have supported her and her husband, Datuk Fadzarudin Shah Anuar throughout the probe by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).
Vivy said they had to take a moment to process what has happened and how the situation has progressed.
“Following a month-long investigation by the MACC, we were informed on Thursday of the allegations against us concerning a transaction in 2018.
“We are unable to discuss the case, but we will continue to give our full cooperation to the process,” she said.
The entrepreneur added that they trust that the judicial system will resolve this case and clear their names.
On Thursday (Dec 5), the couple were jointly charged with fraudulently making a payment of RM8mil from FashionValet Sdn Bhd to 30 Maple Sdn Bhd without the approval of FashionValet’s board of directors.
Last month, the MACC began its investigation into FashionValet regarding investment losses amounting to RM43.9mil by government-linked companies Khazanah Nasional and PNB.
Dubbed Ops Favish, the MACC had frozen accounts belonging to FashionValet and 30 Maple as part of the investigation.
