In sad news, dance choreographer Farah Khan’s mother Menka Irani passed away on July 26, 2024. According to reports, Menka was not doing well for quite some time. Irani was the sister of child actors Daisy and Honey Irani. The news was shared by film critic Kamaal R Khan on his X (formerly known as Twitter) handle. While the reason of Irani’s demise has not been disclosed, Farah Khan’s mother was 79 when she took her last breath.
The tragic news came a few days after Farah revealed on Instagram that her mother had undergone several surgeries. Farah, on her mother’s birthday (July 12), took to Instagram and dropped a heartwarming post and lauded her strength. Farah shared a picture with her mother on Instagram and dropped the wrote, “We all take our mothers for granted..especially me! This last month has been a revelation on how much I lov my mom Menka.. she’s been the strongest, bravest person iv ever seen.. sense of humour intact even after multiple surgeries.”
She further added, “Happy birthday mom! Today’s a good day to come back home. Can’t wait for you to get strong enough to start fighting with me again.. I love you.”
