Denim stays an essential element in the world of Streetfashion this autumn. Reell’s collections have not only always featured denim styles; the streetwear brand even started exclusively offering baggy jeans back in 1997. Today, some 27 years later, the German brand's denim selection covers a wide range of styles with eight different silhouettes, while the classic baggy is still the bestseller in numerous variations.
A step towards sustainability
Reell is increasingly focussing on resource-saving materials for its wide-leg trousers this season. The Organic Baggy and the wide-cut Organic Solid jeans are made from 100% organic cotton: ‘Vintage Smoke Blue’ and ‘Vintage Light Blue’ combine the urban style and freedom of movement typical of Reell with an organically grown fabric. The new streetwear hybrid Baggy Worker, which consists of 20% post-consumer waste fibres in the ‘Iconic Light Blue’ and ‘Iconic Dark Stone’ washes, sets a further accent. The design blends classic workwear elements with an on-trend fit and is also available in ‘Classic Black Wash’.
"The baggy style is once again highly requested, which allows us to offer more fabric and colour variations and to use new, innovative organic materials," comments Reell Sales Manager Thomas Gebka on the wide range of denim in the current collection.
Classic shapes in new shades
Also, the other fits in the Reell Denim collection have been given a colour update for autumn. The season's highlights include original washes such as the elegant ‘Topaz Blue’, ‘Verdi Blue Wash’ and ‘Zero's Stone Black’, which give the eight different denim silhouettes a fresh look. In addition to the oversized models, tried-and-tested all-rounders such as the Barfly and the Nova 2 with a tapered fit remain part of the range, both of which are also available in the new ‘Classic Mid Blue’ and ‘Classic Light Blue’ washes for a relaxed autumn wardrobe.
