Korean celebrity couple Gong Min Jung and Jang Jae Ho are all set to embrace a new journey, a new milestone in their lives. The couple whose on-screen chemistry bloomed in real-life romance is expecting their first child. ‘Marry My Husband’ star Gong Min Jung herself announced the news of her pregnancy during a press conference on December 2, 2024.
According to Soompi’s report, the press conference was held for the upcoming Korean drama ‘Sorry Not Sorry.’ The cast and crew of the show were present at the event when Gong Min Jung shared her news.
“Just like my character, I am currently pregnant. I am expecting to give birth soon. I have many things in common with the character Ha Na,” shared the South Korean star.
During the conference, the actress also revealed that initially when ‘Sorry No Sorry’ was written, her character wasn’t supposed to be pregnant. However, the team was very considerate and made changes accordingly. Gong Min Jung shared her gratitude for the same and said, “I am grateful that the character Ha Na in ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ came to me. Originally, the character was not supposed to be pregnant, but gratefully, the writer and production team changed the setting. I am thankful to be part of this project as I feel I can represent something as a mother-to-be.”

‘Sorry Not Sorry’ is a romantic comedy headlined by Jun So Min as Ji Song Yi. She is a newly married woman whose husband dumps her overnight. She is burdened with a home loan, she is new in the city, and making ends meet is a challenge. She still tries her best to survive by doing several jobs
Another key character is played by Gong Min Jung, who is Song Yi’s estranged best friend. She is a working mother who enjoys the Miracle Morning at 5 am and always uses Excel to solve everything.
‘Sorry Not Sorry,’ will premiere on December 5 at 9 PM KST on KBS.
