[Exclusive] Xiaomi 14 global and India launch expected at MWC 2024

Xiaomi 14 to be announced at MWC 2024

• According to tipster Yogesh Brar, the Xiaomi 14 is set to make its global debut at the MWC (Mobile World Conference) 2024.
• MWC 2024 is scheduled to take place between February 26th and 29th, 2024. Most big-ticket unveilings happen a day before MWC kicks off, so the launch event could take place on February 25th.
• The tipster has also revealed that the device will simultaneously launch in India on the same date.
• This aligns with expectations, as the Xiaomi 14 was recently spotted on the BIS certification website, a regulatory body in India that certifies electronic devices before their launch.
  

Xiaomi 14 specifications

• Display: Xiaomi 14 has a 6.36-inch 1.5K C8 LTPO OLED display with 3000 nits peak brightness, a 120Hz refresh rate, and Gorilla Glass Victus protection on top.
• Processor: The vanilla Xiaomi 14 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
• RAM and storage: It comes in four variants: 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 512GB and 16GB + 1TB.
• Cameras: Xiaomi 14 has a Leica-branded triple camera setup with a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide sensor and a 50MP telephoto sensor. For selfies, there’s a 32MP front camera on the Xiaomi 14.

• Battery, charging: A 4,610mAh battery fuels the Xiaomi 14 and it comes with 90W fast charging support, and 50W wireless charging support.
• Software: On the software front, the Xiaomi 14 runs HyperOS based on Android 14.
  
• Other features: It comes with features such as 5G, IP68 rating, USB 3.2 Gen1, Wi-Fi 7, NFC and an under-display fingerprint sensor.
