For Triptii Dimri, whose performances in projects like Bulbul and Qala have earned her widespread recognition, the biggest lesson she has learned throughout her career is the importance of honesty and trusting her instincts when choosing roles.

Triptii’s Journey with Honesty and Gut Feeling
Reflecting on her acting journey, Triptii shared a thought-provoking insight into how she approaches her work. “The biggest learning is that whatever work comes to me, I should do it with full honesty, because I’ve realized wherever I’m not honest, wherever I’m even a little bit apprehensive, that’s where I falter,” she said. This candid approach, she believes, has been instrumental in her growth as an actress.
The Bulbul Experience: Trusting Her Instincts
Triptii’s journey as an actor includes her role in Bulbul, a film that came at a time when Netflix was still establishing itself as a platform for original films. While many around her advised against taking the role, Triptii followed her gut. “Bulbul was one of the first eight films to come on Netflix, and so many people advised me against it. They told me, ‘Don’t do it, don’t do it.’ But I had to do it, even if I didn’t get paid, even if the film didn’t get released. I wanted to experience her journey, her story, and I’m glad that I did that,” she explained.
Triptii explained that her approach has remained consistent with every project, including Qala and other films yet to be released.
