Sai Ketan Rao, best known for his dual role as Agastya Chaudhary and Surya Pratap Shetty in the Star Plus show Imlie, is all set for to play himself in Bigg Boss OTT Season 3. While this marks his first reality show on Indian television, the actor couldn’t be more excited as his fans will get to see the real him as he is locked out in a house with several contestants. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, as Sai Ketan Rao describes how this show will impact his career, the actor also confessed that he was never a big fan of it.
EXCLUSIVE: Sai Ketan Rao reveals he is NOT a great fan of Bigg Boss as he enters the reality show; says, “I have not watched a single complete season”
“I’m not a great fan of Bigg Boss and I haven’t seen any season, start to end. I’ve seen a few episodes in between. So I can’t name a specific season that I liked,” Sai Ketan Rao told Bollywood Hungama. However, it definitely hasn’t dampened his spirit of entering the house.
Sai Ketan Rao reveals fans are excited to see the ‘real’ him
“My fans are already excited. Of course, they have seen me in my interviews, they have seen my vlogs, and many fans have met me personally as well. So, they have known my personality but I think they’ll still be excited. They’ll see the Sai Ketan Rao in the house. They’ll see how I get up, how I eat, how I talk to the people, how I mingle with them. They’ll see my in and outs,” the actor shared.
Furthermore, describing more about how he deals with arguments and the kind of person he is in real life, Rao added, “I can present my arguments. It should be solution oriented and it should be like, I’m talking to someone, so I want that person to not just talk to his mouth, but talk to his brain.” He also mentioned that he is a competitive person and stated, “I am competitive because I’m an engineer and an MBA. So, engineers are competitive in almost every type.”
Actor opens up on how he will handle controversies
This reality show, as much as it receives love, it also receives a lot of criticism owing to the controversies. However, the Mehndi Hai Rachne Wali actor takes a firm stand asserting that there is nothing controversial about him. “To be honest, I don’t have any controversies. If there are any controversies to be happened, there might be some assumptions in people’s head,” he stated. Recalling experiences of how Bigg Boss has often brought forth people from the contestants’ past as wild card entries of the show, Rao revealed that in case, it happens with him, he will be excited. “I would love it, if someone is coming from my past. I would definitely greet them and meet them.”

The popular actor also shared his opinion on how his stint on the show can affect his standing as a television star. “It will have an impact, but definitely in a positive way. Because if people think it’s negative, it’s not negative. It’s just carry on in the market, but it will work,” he concluded.
