Sanvikaa, the actress who stole hearts as Rinky in the popular web series Panchayat, is currently promoting the show’s highly-anticipated third season. Panchayat, streaming on Amazon Prime Video, features Sanvikaa alongside established actors like Jitendra Kumar, Raghubir Yadav, and Neena Gupta. In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, Sanvikaa discussed various aspects of her career and life as a rising actress.

Maintaining Authenticity on Social Media:
When asked about the difference between her on-screen persona and social media presence, Sanvikaa stated, “I don’t want to get stereotyped. But as an actor, you like to experiment with things.” She enjoys experimenting with different styles, reflecting her personality. “It’s not just for social media,” she clarifies, “I enjoy all kinds of clothes. But sometimes, if we project ourselves in a certain way, maybe we can get casting calls for different kinds of roles, and people can see us in a different way.”
Sharing the Screen with Veterans:
As the conversation progressed further, Sanvikaa expressed her initial nervousness about working with established actors like Jitendra Kumar, Raghubir Yadav, and Neena Gupta. “They are legendary,” she remarked. However, the seasoned cast’s warmth made her feel comfortable. Despite her initial self-doubt, they fostered a positive environment on set.
Jitendra Kumar’s Valuable Advice:
Sanvikaa revealed a valuable acting tip she received from her co-star Jitendra Kumar. She recalled, “He told me – when you are new and you are surrounded with lots of people, to keep your sanity, you should give your shots and after the shots just go and sit quietly somewhere. The surroundings should not affect you. Because there are lots of people on the set; at least 50 people and if someone says anything or something is happening, your mind would divert. So it is always important to go quietly, give your shot, then come back.”
She further added, “If necessary, put microphones and listen to some songs, be in your own space. Also, this is very important when you are starting initially. Once you become habitual, you can be like have fun and do different things and talk to other people.”
Speaking of the show, it will start streaming on the OTT giant on May 28.
