Last year, a notice published in Complete Cinema magazine’s issue dated September 9-16, 2023 mentioned that Penthouse is now titled Teesvi ManzilBollywood Hungama exclusively spoke with Cyrus Broacha, who is cast in this film, and he confirmed the change of title and also the fact that it’ll be released on Jio Cinema. The interview with Cyrus was held on the occasion of World Podcast Day 2024 and was organized by Amazon Music since he is one of the Amazon Music Podcasters and has a fun podcast called ‘Cyrus Says Podcast’.

Cyrus Broacha further said that he was asked to redub certain dialogues involving abusive words. He said, “The film is owned by Jio Cinema and it’s up to them to release it. They made us dub, so we’ve dubbed little portions. Mostly bad language was eradicated that is not appreciated on Jio Cinema apparently. So, I have no idea. The actor is the last person to know. But I do think they will release it at some point. I hope in this lifetime.”

Besides Cyrus Broacha, Teesvi Manzil also stars Bobby Deol, Arjun Rampal, Sharman Joshi, Mouni Roy, Tisca Chopra and Pranati Rai Prakash. It is the official remake of the Belgian film Loft (2008). It is the story of five married men, who co-own a city penthouse where they secretly meet their mistresses. They find themselves in a troubling situation when a woman is found dead in the loft.

Abbas-Mustan was all set to shoot the film in 2020 but had to abandon their plans due to the lockdown. Abbas Burmawalla told Mid-Day in November 2023, “People assumed we completed the film by 2021. But the truth is, we only began shooting in 2022 while post-production went on till this year (2023). We had put up a huge set in 2020 [in Goregaon], but we had to dismantle it during the pandemic. We finally got to shooting only when the pandemic was over.”
