The 2024 Test Rugby season is officially over, and with it have come the last of the triumphant Springboks games and tearful national anthems.

NATIONAL ANTHEM PERFORMANCES THAT HAD US IN TEARS
Throughout 2024, Springbok fans have celebrated their country, retaining their number one World Rugby ranking. They’ve also witnessed some emotional national anthem performances sung by various performers.
Here is a look at some of the highlights…
KB Motsilanyane
In July, actress and singer KB delivered a phenomenal performance at the Springboks’ first match on home soil at Loftus.
Her moving execution involved allowing the crowd to finish singing Nkosi Sikelel iAfrika.
SPRINGBOK FIXTURES 2025
Sadly, Springbok fans will have to wait at least seven months before they see their favourite team play – or passionately sing the national anthem.
According to SA Rugby, these are the tentative fixtures for 2025…
- 5 July: SA v Italy
- 12 July: SA v Italy
- 19 July: SA v Georgia
- 16 August: SA v Australia
- 6 September: SA vs New Zealand
- 13 September: SA vs New Zealand
- 23 August: SA v Australia
- 27 September: SA v Argentina
- 4 October: SA vs Argentina
