According to a post on X by Sawyer Merritt, “Tesla has secured a new $150 million+ (estimate) Megapack contract for a new battery in Australia. It will be the first eight-hour battery to be built in Australia.” Tesla Megapack system is already fully operational in South Wales, according to a report published on October 10, 2023 by Teslarati.
