Fans of the ‘Don’ film franchise have been anticipating every aspect of it since its announcement. The action-packed film, directed by Farhan Akhtar, stars Kiara Advani and Ranveer Singh in the key roles. Other than the announcement that Kiara would be the lead actress, not much has changed about the movie since it was first revealed a year ago. According to a report, the movie will start filming at the end of the year.
Filming for Ranveer Singh’s movie is expected to begin by the end of this year and be finished in four months, according to a report by Dainik Bhasker.The majority of the action-packed scenes will reportedly be filmed in other countries, such as London and Germany.
Dainik Bhaskar reported, “A few days ago, Farhan Akhtar has reached London with the core team of this film. He has gone there to finalize the location for the shooting of Don-3. Apart from London, the production team will also go to Germany. It is possible that apart from London, the film will also be shot in many cities of Germany.”
Notedly, many social media users criticized Don 3 and the film’s creators for removing Shah Rukh Khan from the role after it was revealed that Ranveer Singh will play the new Don. However, Ranveer discussed the same topic on the chat show ‘Koffee With Karan’ and said, “Ek chance dedo, 12–13 saal me thik thak hi kaam kiya hai maine, toh ek mauka toh banta hai.”
Regarding the criticism for SRK’s replacement, Farhan earlier told BBC Asian Network, “We went through the same emotional process when Shah Rukh did it and everyone was like ‘Oh my God, how can you replace Mr. Bachchan?.’ That whole thing happened then.”
Meanwhile, Farhan released a video clip revealing Ranveer’s character along with the movie announcement. In the promo, Ranveer said, “Sher jo so raha hain woh jagega kab, puchte hai yeh sab. Unse keh do phir jaag utha hoon main, aur phir samne jald aane ko…”
