For quite some time, Diljit Dosanjh has been touring in different parts of the world. His concerts are going housefull in no time. The Udta Punjab star is currently on tour in Canada. The Punjabi actor-singer received a huge surprise during his recent concert at Canada’s Rogers Centre in Toronto. Justin Trudeau surprised Diljit with a visit to the venue and shared a wonderful post praising his stardom and diversity on social media. In the pictures shared by both Diljit Dosanjh and Canada’s PM Justin Trudeau, the duo greets each other and share a hearty conversation. The singer shared a video of Justin coming on the stage, hugging him, and posing for a fun video with the dancers. The Amar Singh Chamkila star wrote, “Diversity is Canada’s strength. Prime Minister @justinpjtrudeau came to check out history in the making: we sold out the Rogers Centre!”

Justin, on the other hand, praised Diljit for making history and selling out stadiums around the country. Trudeau’s caption reads, “Stopped by the Rogers Centre to wish @diljitdosanjh good luck before his show. Canada is a great country — one where a guy from Punjab can make history and sell out stadiums. Diversity isn’t just our strength. It’s a super power.”

Directed by Imtiaz Ali, the Netflix film is a musical biographical drama and also stars Parineeti Chopra. Diljit also made a special appearance in the movie Crew. Directed by Rajesh A Krishnan, the heist comedy stars Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kriti Sanon, and Kapil Sharma (a special appearance). The actor-singer was last seen in the Punjabi film Jatt & Juliet 3 alongside Neeru Bajwa.
