UPDATE: Diablo IV Season of Blood is now live, though there is an issue with cross-platform play that Blizzard is investigating. The following was posted to the Battle.net forums at 3:05pm ET:

Season of Blood is now live! We found an issue preventing cross-platform play between PC and console. We are working to resolve this and will provide updates as soon as they become available.

Season 2 of Diablo IV, named “Season of Blood”, was set to start at 1pm ET today. However, minutes after the season was set to begin, Blizzard Community Manager SinfulScribe posted the following to the Battle.net forums:

Hello everyone,

We have encountered some technical issues with our current build and will be delaying Season of Blood’s start time by a few hours to remedy these issues. Once we have more information, we’ll update you right away. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate the feedback you have provided and your patience.

As of now, there is no set start time. We will update this article as more information becomes available.
