Devara: Part 1 Advance Box Office Collection Day 1 is here and it has already broke several records. Check state-wise numbers.
Jr. NTR has won our hearts already with SS Rajamouli-directed RRR. After creating history globally, he is all set to return with Devara, directed by Kortala Siva. The part 1 is all set to release on September 27 in theatres in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada languages. Besides Jr. NTR’s double role, the film also stars Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor. It will be their first Telugu film. The film follows Devara, a fearless man from the coast, who goes on a sea journey to protect his people, while his brother Bhaira conspires against him, and his legacy passes to his timid son, Varada. Devara: Part 1 has been making the right noise on social media ever since the booking opened. Including the advance earnings of India and globally, the movie has created history.
The action-packed entertainer has been certified U/A by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) with an approved run time of 2 hours, 57 minutes, and 58 seconds. While the full-fledged bookings are yet to open, but as per the early trends, the Jr. NTR starrer is all set to deliver another Rs 100 crore opener, as per a Pinkvilla report. The advance booking in APTS (Andhra Pradesh & Telangana) is off to a flyer and the early predictions suggest a start in the north of Rs 65 crore in the states, with a chance to go higher depending on the pricing, showcasing, and permissions for early shows.
As per sacnilk.com, 994187 tickets have been sold from Devara: Part 1‘s 7267 Telugu shows and 40442 tickets have been sold from Devara: Part 1‘s 6186 Hindi shows. Including, other languages, a total of Rs 42.05 crore earnings have been made from 1047293 blocked seats in India. Rest Rs 60 crore is expected from the global earnings.
Talking about JR. NTR’s previous big film RRR, it earned Rs 223 crore worldwide on its first day. The monster blockbuster recorded the highest opening-day earned by an Indian film. It also emerged as the highest-grossing film in its home market of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, grossing over Rs 406 crore.
