DELIVEROO have named their top Chinese takeaway in Scotland at their annual awards bash.
The delivery giant revealed their top restaurants north of the border.
Ten eateries gained the top spot for their style of cuisine after THOUSANDS of loyal customers cast their votes.
But after food-loving punters made their choice, the business which got the crown for the top Chinese restaurant was revealed.
Once the votes were counted, one Glasgow-based restaurant emerged as the winner.
Salt and Chilli Oriental, based in the city‘s Shawlands, took the crown as Scotland’s best Chinese.
Over 66,000 votes were cast by punters over two weeks.
Scotland’s best burger, Indian, Pizza and even BREAKFAST were among the awards given out.
And one lucky business was so loved by punters that it earned the coveted Independent Restaurant of the Year Scotland award.
Deliveroo founder and CEO Will Shu said: “I say it every year, but the standard of finalists and winners for this year’s Restaurant Awards has been incredible.
“I’ve had the pleasure of meeting a number of restaurant owners to hear about their stories, food, and the positive impact they’ve had on their local communities.
“We are proud to partner with such an incredible array of dedicated restaurants to deliver food from around the world to doorsteps across the UK and Ireland.
“A huge well done to all of this year’s winners.”
