Congress spokesperson Supriya Shrinate took a dig at senior BJP leader Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Friday for calling a group of people “My Family” in a picture he shared on the microblogging site, X.
Shrinate reposted the photo and wrote “Dekh raha hai Binod”, drawing a parallel from the popular line in the web-drama series ‘Panchayat’ which has also inspired several memes on social media.
In the web series, the protagonist cunningly calls upon the attention of a fellow villager to the unfolding of mischievous events in the village. Supriya also taunted and shared another video of him driving a tractor to plow the fields.

SHIVRAJ RESIGNS FROM CM POST
Shivraj Singh Chouhan resigned as the Chief Minister of the state and welcomed Mohan Yadav as his successor. Chouhan said he was fully confident that the new BJP government under Mohan Yadav’s leadership will complete the ongoing works at a rapid pace.
“I will always support them. The BJP formed a majority government in Madhya Pradesh with the blessings of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and due to the hard work of party workers as well as the welfare schemes of the state government and Centre, especially the `Ladli Behna’ Yojana,” he said to the reporters.
CHOUHAN UPDATES BIO ON X
Days after his party replaced him following a landslide victory in recent state assembly elections, Chouhan updated his bio and wrote “Bhai (brother)” and “Mama (uncle)”.
In a video released by Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s office earlier, some women were seen crying during their meeting with the former CM. “We elected you. We voted for you,” they said.
A woman said, “Hum aapko nahin choroenge (We will not leave you).”
To which, Chouhan said, “Mai bhi kahan jaa raha hoon. Mai bhi nahin chorunga. (I am not going anywhere. I will not leave you as well)”
Chouhan is popularly known as “Bhai” among lakhs of women in Madhya Pradesh for his women-centric schemes and “Mama” among youths, whom he refers to as his “bhanje” and “bhanjis” (nephews).
