Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh welcomed their daughter on September 8, 2024. Earlier this year, the couple announced pregnancy and fans have been rejoicing the couple’s happiness. It has been almost two months since they welcomed their daughter and fans have been waiting for some updates on her name. Well, as a Diwali gift, the couple has revealed what they have named their baby girl.
Deepika and Ranveer’s daughter’s name revealed
To all our entertainment fans, we would like to inform you that Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s daughter’s name is Dua Padukone Singh. Today, the duo took to their Instagram page to make this big announcement. Along with revealing the name, they also shared their daughter’s first picture. However, it’s not a full photo, but a picture of the baby’s cute little feet.
DP and RS captioned their post, “Dua Padukone Singh | दुआ पादुकोण सिंह ‘Dua’ : meaning a Prayer. Because she is the answer to our prayers. Our hearts are filled with love & gratitude. Deepika & Ranveer.” In the comments, Alia Bhatt has expressed her joy and posted a lot of red heart emoji.
Ranveer and Deepika’s fans have also expressed their happiness over the couple’s big revelation. One fan commented, “Such a beautiful name.” Another fan wrote, “Choti Laxmi Dua.” One more comment reads, “Our Darling DUA. We’re so happy for this moment. May God protect them from evil eyes. Keep them safe, healthy and happy.”

Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone is currently on a maternity break. On the work front, she was seen in two movies this year: Kalki 2898 AD and Singham Again. The former was released in June and the latter was released today itself. On the other hand, Ranveer Singh is also a part of Singham Again. He’s busy with Aditya Dhar’s next and also has Don 3 in the pipeline.
