New Delhi: Within 14 calendar days of the CTET Exam’s conclusion, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will soon release the CBSE CTET Provisional Answer Key 2024. Once released, candidates can access the CTET Answer Key 2024 at https://ctet.nic.in/. The published CTET Answer Key will be provisional. Candidates can access it by entering his/her application number, date of birth, and security pin.
The Board conducted the 19th edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on July 7. The test was conducted in twenty languages in 136 cities all over the country. Paper-I and Paper-II were conducted for two hours and thirty minutes respectively.
When Will CBSE Release the CTET Answer Key?
Going by the media reports, the CTET Provisional Answer Key is expected to be released by the third week of July. However, it is tentative, and an official announcement is awaited.

How to Download CBSE CTET Answer Key?
Follow these steps to access the answer key and check your answers to estimate your score accurately.
- Visit the official website of CBSE CTET at https://ctet.nic.in/.
- On the homepage, look for the link that reads, ‘Download CTET Answer Key.’
- Enter the login details such as application number, date of birth, and security pin.
- Your CBSE CTET Answer Key will appear on the screen.
- Download and take a printout of it for future reference.
Candidates who have appeared for the examination will be allowed to challenge the answer(s) by paying a non-refundable prescribed fee of Rs.1000/- per question as processing charges, in case they are not satisfied with any of the answer(s).
Only paid challenges made during the stipulated time will be considered. Challenges without payment of fee and those submitted on any other medium(viz. email/letter/representation) will not be considered. The Board’s decision on the challenges shall be final and no further communication will be entertained. The Board will not inform the Candidates individually about their challenges.
CTET 2024 Result in August
The subject experts will examine all the challenges received and then the final answer keys will be prepared by them. The result will be declared according to the final answer keys. In case a challenge on answer key(s) is accepted by the subject expert(s), the amount will be refunded to the concerned candidate after the declaration of the result.
After the declaration of the result, the candidates may seek a photocopy of their OMR answer sheet of CTETalong with calculation sheet by paying the fee of Rs.500/- per OMR, by way of Demand Draft in favour of Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education drawn on any Nationalized Bank and payable at Delhi. The CTET Result will be declared tentatively by the end of August 2024.
