“Congratulations each one of them…”: Chirag Paswan after PM Modi distributes appointment letters under Rozgar Mela

Union Minister for Food Processing Industries Chirag Paswan on Tuesday witnessed the awarding of appointment letters to newly-appointed youth during the Rozgar Mela event in Thiruvananthapuram and congratulated all the youth who received the appointment letters.

“As my Prime Minister calls it the ‘Amrit Kal’, they (recruits) will be a part of the government when we become developed nation on 2047. This comes with a huge responsibility for them to prove themselves. I congratulate each one of them,” Chirag Paswan said.

Earlier today, PM Modi distributed over 51,000 appointment letters to newly appointed youth under Rozgar Mela through video conferencing.

Rozgar Mela highlights Prime Minister’s commitment to prioritising employment generation. It will empower the youth by providing them with meaningful opportunities to contribute to nation-building.

On Priyanka Gandhi Vadra contesting Wayanad Lok Sabha bypoll Chirag Paswan asked why did the situation of the country not change when Congress was in power.

“Why did the situation of the country not change when they (Congress) were in power for long? If you are working for the country then they (the public) will select you no matter what. This is the reason why the Prime Minister has been elected third time in a row. This shows the belief of the people in the policies of the NDA government and the leadership of the Prime Minister. We have seen how well the NDA alliance has done in states like Haryana,” Paswan added. Wayanad, a Congress bastion is going to see a contest between Congress’s Priyanka Gandhi, BJP’s Navya Haridas and the Left candidate Sathyan Mokeri in the upcoming bypolls.Priyanka Gandhi is contesting from the Wayanad constituency as United Democratic Front (UDF) candidate, is seeking election from the seat her brother Rahul Gandhi vacated.

Wayanad seat was vacated by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi after he was also elected to Lok Sabha from Raebareli in Uttar Pradesh in the general elections held earlier this year.

Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi kicked off campaigning in Wayanad ahead of the bypolls scheduled for November 13.

Wayanad will go to the polls on November 13 along with voting for bye-elections in 47 assembly seats across 15 states. The first phase of assembly polls in Jharkhand will also be held on November 13.
