Television actress Arti Singh is all set to tie the knot with businessman Dipak Chauhan on April 25 in Mumbai. The 39-year-old actress confirmed the news on her birthday (April 5) and revealed some details about her upcoming nuptials.

In a statement released by Arti Singh, she said, “We first spoke on July 23 last year and met after his birthday (August 5). As things progressed, I decided to commit to this relationship in November. However, we didn’t move forward until both our families approved of our union. On January 1, Dipak proposed marriage to me with a ring at my guruji’s temple in Delhi and I said yes. I consider that moment as my engagement.”
Arti expressed her gratitude for Dipak’s calming nature, describing him as the yin to her yang. She shares, “There are usually inhibitions when meeting someone in an arranged marriage setup. However, I didn’t feel any when I met Dipak. Along the way, we have developed a strong friendship. He brings a calming influence into my life and serves as a grounding force. I feel blessed to have him in my life. What I appreciate most about our relationship is that I can truly be myself with him and even with his family, including his father and two sisters. I am glad I didn’t settle earlier. Sahi waqt par sab kuchh sahi ho raha hai, especially as I have gained a better understanding of relationships.”
Regarding their honeymoon plans, Arti spilled, “We are discussing it, but nothing concrete. My priority is to visit a temple after our wedding. I am excited about setting up our new home; that’s more important for me than the honeymoon,” she adds, smiling.
The wedding ceremony will be held in Mumbai on April 25 in the presence of close family and friends. Reports suggest that pre-wedding festivities like haldi, mehndi, and the wedding ceremony itself will all take place at a single venue. The guest list is expected to include celebrities like Arti’s uncle Govinda, Salman Khan, Siddharth Shukla’s family, Shehnaaz Gill, and several others from the television and film industry.
Following the wedding, Arti and Dipak plan to visit a temple for blessings. Honeymoon plans, however, are yet to be finalised.
Arti Singh has been a part of the Indian television industry for a number of years. Some of her notable television shows include Maayka, Grihasti, Uttaran, Udaan, Parichay, Sasural Simar Ka, Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev, and Waaris. In 2019, she participated in the reality show Bigg Boss 13, where she emerged as the fourth runner-up.
