‘Chamkila’ actor Anjum Batra shared his memorable experience of visiting Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic Mumbai residence, Mannat, where he was invited to help the superstar with his Punjabi dialogues for the film ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal,’ directed by Imtiaz Ali.
In a candid interview with TV9, Anjum described Shah Rukh as an incredibly hospitable host who went out of his way to make Anjum and Imtiaz Ali feel welcome.Anjum recalled arriving at Mannat with Imtiaz at 11 p.m.and Shah Rukh joining them 15 minutes later after completing a film shoot. The three spent the entire night in Mannat’s library, working on dialogue and sharing conversations. Anjum noted how gracious Shah Rukh was, offering him a place to sit beside him and listening intently as Anjum spoke.
Shah Rukh’s hospitality was evident when he presented Anjum with a menu and insisted on sharing a meal of pav bhaji with him, despite Anjum’s initial reluctance to eat meat at the time.
