The Psychology question paper is assessed to be of moderate difficulty, and students who would have read NCERT and prepared thoroughly for the exam would be able to score well.

As per expert, Class 12 Psychology Question Paper for 2024, modeled after the CBSE sample paper, exhibited a balanced difficulty level, primarily leaning towards easy to moderate.

The Grade 12 Psychology Question Paper for 2024, modeled after the CBSE sample paper, exhibited a balanced difficulty level, primarily leaning towards easy to moderate. The paper emphasized application-based questions, requiring students to think critically to solve them. Notably, three assertion-reason questions were easily comprehensible, facilitating students’ understanding. Case-based questions were seamlessly linked to the textbook content, aiding students in their responses.

However, some students found Question 2 confusing due to the options provided, possibly leading to slight ambiguity. Additionally, the paper’s lengthiness may have posed a challenge to some students. Nevertheless, six-mark questions were straightforward, offering students direct queries for which a thorough understanding of the textbook material would have sufficed.

Overall, students who diligently studied the textbook were likely to perform well, as the paper demanded a comprehensive understanding of concepts rather than rote memorization. With its blend of application-based queries and direct questions, the paper effectively assessed students’ grasp of psychological principles and their ability to apply them in various scenarios, aligning with the expected standards for Grade 12 Psychology.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 12 Psychology examination was conducted on 15th March, 2024. The question paper was moderate, with a mix of direct, analytical and application based questions. It emphasized on testing the students’ critical thinking ability.

Students found the paper long-winded but feasible.

The Psychology exam was for 70 marks and was divided into six following sections –

Section A: MCQs (15 marks)

Section B: Very short answer type questions (12 marks)

Section C: Short answer type questions (9 marks)

Section D: Long answer type questions I (16 marks)

Section E: Long answer type questions II (12 marks)

Section F: Case-based questions (6 marks)

MCQs were predominantly case-based and, together with Section F questions, required students to have good conceptual clarity to answer correctly. Overall, the paper is assessed to be of moderate difficulty, and students who have read NCERT and prepared thoroughly for the exam will be able to score well.
