Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 contestant Nareshi Meena made buzz all over the internet ever since the promo of KBC 16 was released where she will be seen answering Rs 1 crore question. Basis the promo of the show, she will be seen reaching the 15th question for 1 crore rupees, however, she couldn’t answer it on August 22’s episode. KBC 16 doesn’t get its first crorepati in Nareshi Meena as she didn’t answer the 15th question and took home Rs. 50 lakh.
Nareshi has a strikingly different personality who amazed not only the viewers but Big B as well. She played a splendid game and took home Rs 50 lakh after quitting Rs 1 crore question as she was not entirely sure about the answer.

Nareshi Meena from Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan was diagnosed with a tumour in 2018 and underwent surgery in 2019. Unfortunately, the tumour couldn’t be completely removed, so doctors recommended Proton Therapy, which costs Rs 25 to 30 lakhs, to treat the remaining tumour without additional surgery. She found inspiration within her own family and is now dedicated to improving the lives of girls in her community. She remains steadfast as a supervisor in the Women Empowerment Department, to empower women and girls to seize the opportunities available to them.
She shared her noble work on KBC and hoped to amplify the reach of these programs, so that more women benefit from them. Additionally, she hoped to use her potential winnings to fund the treatment for her illness and to reclaim her mother’s cherished jewellery, which holds deep sentimental value. Nareshi’s father, who is a humble farmer, has always encouraged her to pursue her education.

The question worth Rs 1 crore that Nareshi had to quit as she didn’t have any lifeline was, “Whom did Leela Row Dayal beat to become the first Indian woman to win a singles match at the Wimbledon tennis championships?”

Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan, in the show, was overwhelmed after learning about her serious illness of the contestant. He promised to support Nareshi with her medical treatment.
