Just hours after rocking the DStv Delicious stage on Saturday evening, Busta Rhymes revealed that an iPhone belonging to one of his entourage had been stolen at Sandton club Liv.
The 52-year-old rapper even offered anyone who returned the item a generous reward.
BUSTA RHYMES OFFERS REWARD FOR STOLEN PHONE
In a clip posted on social media, Busta Rhymes was seen calling out a person who allegedly stole an iPhone from a female in his entourage.
The billionaire hitmaker – who made an appearance at Sandton club Liv – even offered a lucrative reward for the return of the property.
He said: “$5 000 to the person who returns this lady’s iPhone. Please bring it back and do the honourable thing. Let’s represent the African people the way we are supposed to”.
Growing agitated, he said: “I want that iPhone 12. F**k you. I’m not joking, either. I’m smiling because I’m happy.”
It’s unclear if the iPhone was returned to the person in question.
ROCKING DSTV DELICIOUS STAGE
Meanwhile, Busta Rhymes revealed he was “glad to be back” in South Africa during his performance at the DStv Delicious Festival.
The Grammy-winning star is no stranger to Mzansi, having visited in 2010, 2011 and 2013.
He told the crowd: “Thank you, Joburg, for early Christmas… It feels so good to be home; I ain’t gon’ lie. I got emotional when I got off the plane yesterday.”
