Bollywood Hungama OTT India Fest 2024: Pratibha Ranta opens up about the pressures of acting; says, “I thrive under that pressure”
Among the standout voices, actress Pratibha Ranta reflected on the intense pressures actors face on set. She spoke candidly about the expectations to outperform past performances, highlighting the emotional and creative challenges that come with constantly striving for excellence in every role.
Pratibha Ranta said, “I thrive under that pressure. I absolutely want that pressure, because I do not want to be silent. I do want to get better. I do want to try different roles. I want to challenge myself. Because, till the time you know, OTT films, TV, PD is the most difficult medium to work in, right? And it’s now still okay, but it used to be very, very but we didn’t know any better, and we were enjoying ourselves. I have learned so much and to even in that kind of an environment where there’s not just pressure of doing a good job, the pressure is to deliver.”
The Bollywood Hungama OTT India Fest and India Entertainment Awards, in association with Cinema Waale Film and Television Productions LLP and Across Media Solutions, is to be held on the 3rd & 4th of October 2024 at Taj Lands End, Mumbai.
