The Bollywood Hungama OTT Fest, held on October 3 and October 4, 2024, at Taj Lands End, Mumbai brought together leading figures from the entertainment world to examine the fast-paced evolution of India’s OTT platforms. Over the course of two days, celebrities engaged in thought-provoking discussions on the shifting dynamics of digital content creation. The fest ended on a high as Kartik Aaryan had a great chat about his struggles and of course, his upcoming film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
Bollywood Hungama OTT India Fest 2024: Kartik Aaryan talks about his struggles when he wasn’t able to buy a car: “I decided ‘main saari apni dream cars khareed ke rahoonga’…I am content now; ab parking khatam ho gayi hai”
Kartik Aaryan was asked about the first car that he bought. He replied, “I bought a third-hand car years ago when I didn’t have any vehicle. I think I paid around Rs. 30,000 or Rs. 35,000. But the first brand new car that I bought was a Lamborghini! Before that, I also bought a second hand car.”
Kartik was asked how many cars he has and which are those four-wheelers. Kartik, at first, laughed and hesitated while answering this query. But then he answered, “I have a Range Rover, I have a McLaren, I have a Rolls Royce, I have a Mini Cooper and I have one more car.” His answer led to applause from the audience. Kartik then joked, “Ab mujhe aisa lag raha hai ki kisi car ka brand endorsement nahin milegi!”
On a serious note, Kartik Aaryan then shared, “There was a point in my life when I was not able to afford cars in my life. At that time, I was so furious about it that I decided ‘main saari apni dream cars khareed ke rahoonga aur main garage bhar dunga un cars se’! The idea was that ‘mujhe aisa na lage ki cars ki kami hai’. So, I guess I keep buying cars in frustration and even I don’t realize (laughs)!”
He continued, “But I think I am content now. I don’t know which cars I’ll buy in future. I haven’t decided. Ab parking khatam ho gayi hai!”
