Kartik Aaryan, the heartthrob of Bollywood, recently graced the finale of Bollywood Hungama OTT India Fest 2024 and gave fans a sneak peek into the highly anticipated horror-comedy, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. The two-day fest had multiple figures from across medium and the last panel was led by Kartik, who expressed his excitement about the film and revealed some intriguing details about the plot and characters.

Speaking about the film, he said, “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 ke liye main bhi bahut excited hoon. Joh teaser ka reaction aaya hai usse kaafi zyaada validation diya hail iss poori franchise ko. A lot of people are making theories ki ismein kya hona hai especially Vidya Balan jab woh singhaasan uthati hai teaser mein. Woh bhi logon ne uske baare mein baat ki. Ya phir Rooh Baba vs Manjulika kya cheez lekar aa rahe hai. Speculations bhi chal rahi hai ki accha koi aur bhi hai, nahin bhi hai. Anees Bazmee, I and all the actors keep on discussing. Woh already chalu ho gaya hai. All I can say about Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is that it will shock a lot of people. It has that value in it. You will go with some kind of expectations about it. We try that we meet that. But uske bawajood bhi unexpected cheezen bhi ho rahi hai. Aapko maza aane wala hai woh sab dekh ke (I am really excited for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. The reaction to the teaser has given a lot of validation to the entire franchise. Many people are making theories about what’s going to happen, especially regarding Vidya Balan when she lifts the throne in the teaser. People are talking about that. And then there’s the speculation around Rooh Baba vs. Manjulika—what they are bringing to the table. There are also discussions about whether there will be other characters involved or not. Anees Bazmee, I, and all the actors keep discussing this. It’s already in motion. All I can say about Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is that it will shock a lot of people. It has that potential. You will go in with certain expectations, and we try to meet those. But despite that, unexpected things are also happening. You’re going to enjoy watching it).”
Aaryan also highlighted the return of beloved characters from the previous instalments. “There are characters that people have loved a lot, and they are similar. I am reprising the character of Rooh Baba again. Chota Pandit played by Rajpal Yadav, Sanjay Mishra—all of them are together. There’s also Vidya Balan, Triptii Dimri, and many more characters.”
Directed by Anees Bazmee and project initiated by Bhushan Kumar, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will be releasing on Diwali 2024.
